Projectiles Ignoring Wall Collisions

I created a Projectile class that is able to collide with both enemies and the player. However, the projectiles will pass through walls without hitting the ActorBeginOverlap event. How do you fix this issue so my projectiles can detect collision with the walls? The walls are just box mesh.

Try making the mesh or collision the root. If using the projectile movement ive noticed that since the scene component has no collision it makes the entire projecile go through static objects. I believe whats happening is that the scene component is moveing and the mesh has to stay at the same location in relative space to the scene component

I did what you said. The projectiles are still going through the walls without hitting ActorBeginOverlap

Although now that I think about it, the walls aren’t actors, so they won’t be picked up by ActorBeginOverlap.

they actually are actors. if you select a wall and look in the collision section is it set to generate overlap events.
