Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

ETA for IES profiles on forward rendering?

Hello,

I'm working on VR product visualization. A customer has provided us with IES profiles, and after a couple hours of unsuccessful attempts I found they are only supported if you're using the deferred renderer (which it seems is not documented anywhere).

Is Epic working on supporting forward rendered IES profiles, and if so when can I hope it will be done? For now I'll deal with the performance hit from turning off forward rendering, but it would be nice to know if I will be able to switch back in the future, or if I should plan to have a specific version on deferred just for IES profiles.

Thank you

Same issue here. Would really love to use them, or have some kind of workaround, for forward rendering (VR project). Thanks!
