Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Transparent object occluding outlines behind it

Hey everyone,

Currently, I have a sphere with opacity and then a duplicate of that sphere with a standard material on it and 'Render in Main Pass' dechecked which gives the black outline on a transparent object.

It looks like this: alt text

However, I don't like that it completely gets rid of all the nice clean outlines behind it. If I turn the second sphere off they all come shining through but then my transparent sphere doesn't have a black outline.

This is what it looks like with that second sphere hidden: alt text

Is there a way to have the effects merge so to say? I want to see those outlines through my glass like material not completely occlude them.

Thanks, Matt
