Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Unreal Editor crashes every time I compile with new c++ code

Hello, UE4 team and game developers. I'm currently working on Unreal Engine project using version 4.18.3 Editing and compiling Blueprint has no problems and works well. But when I add c++ code and compile, then the unreal editor crashes and terminate at the end of the compile process. I switched visual studio version to 2015 from 2017, but it didn't help me. The problem is that when I restart the unreal editor after crashing, second compile succeed soon. So I'm so tedious about restarting the unreal editor every time I added new c++ code and compile. Compiling without code change always success, but always crash when I put any small c++ code. My project currently contains MobileUtils, Gamesparks, Crashlytics plugins included. Please give me the solution. I found the developers encountered same issue but I cannot find the proper answer or solution. Please help me and tell me the solution if you have. Thank you.

Product Version: UE 4.18
