Unreal 4.18.3 - Editor crashes when turning on 6th tracked SteamVR device

Summary:
In Unreal 4.18.3, if you turn on the 6th Lighthouse-tracked device (2 Motion Controllers and 4 Vive Trackers), the Editor crashes. Likewise, if you already have the 6 tracked devices on while starting the Editor, it crashes at startup.

Reproducability:
100% on my work PC.

Notes:
Neither does this happen on 4.16.3 on my PC, nor with 5 devices on in 4.18.3. It is also independant of the order in which the devices get turned on.

Steps to reproduce:
Option A:

  • Start Steam
  • Start Steam VR
  • Pair 2 Motion Controllers and 4 Vive Trackers to the PC
  • Turn all 6 devices off
  • Start an Unreal 4.18.3 project
  • Open a map
  • Observe how the editor runs fine
  • Turn on 5 devices in any order
  • Observe how the editor still works fine
  • Turn the 6th device on
  • Observe how the editor crashes

Option B:

  • Start Steam
  • Start Steam VR
  • Pair 2 Motion Controllers and 4 Vive Trackers to the PC
  • Turn all 6 devices on
  • Start an Unreal 4.18.3 project
  • Observe how the editor crashes right after finishing loading
