Game starts low fps, toggle stat unit and performance jumps to expected
This is the weirdest thing. In editor without the game running I have about 110-120 fps with drops to 90. If i hit simulate the game runs around expected at 70-80 fps, but my target is min 90 fps. If I do VR preview the game starts at about 30 fps and will jump to like 45-55 fps at times. That didn't seem right since in 4.17 the game runs at a smooth 80-90. In VR preview I opened the command lined and called stat unit and the fps jumped up to the expected 80-90 fps. WTF? This is not a misreporting of numbers because there is a visible performance increase while playing the game. I don't understand what it is that could be causing this. Any ideas?
