Start a particle effect from a cinematic sequence

I am converting a scene I have to a rendered video file via the Cinematic Sequencer.

I also have a particle system that, when started, emits for 4 seconds and then stops.

I need to “start up” that particle system from the Cinematic Sequencer about 5 seconds after the animation starts (this is the time the camera is looking in it’s direction).

How can I control this from the Sequencer?

Have you tried the particle track? Add your particle system to sequencer and then add a particle toggle track to enable it.
