Controlling FABRIK with actor position

Hi,

I’ve been going in circles for hours with what (I believe) should be a simple solution!

I have got an rigged tentacle with a looping animation which will need to be affected by FABRIK after a set amount of time before returning to it’s default animation. The idea is, when you approach it in VR, the tentacle will reach toward one of the controllers and once you move away, it will return to its default animation. I have stripped it down to basics and am now trying to get an actor, in this case an animated sphere, to control where the tip of the tentacle should move.

I believe the first sticking point is setting up the variables correctly as I cant get the blueprints to talk to each other or link targets.

It’s early days in Blueprints for me, so i’m sure it’s something simple!
