What is wrong with the lighting on this Blender made static mesh?

I made this static mesh in Blender and imported it into UE4. When I bake the lighting it makes these weird dark patches. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong here? It’s probably something simple but I’ve tried a ton of different thing and none of them worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Maybe your lightmap resolution is extremely low?

Model is not ready for lightmaps.
At least avoid texture tiling if exist, also if need lightmaps inside - model should be separately modeled inside(not two sided).

Read this guide:

I’ve already tried changing the lightmap resolution, but it did nothing. But this model isn’t the greatest, it was more of just a test to see what it would do in unreal engine. I’m just going to make some different stuff and see what happens. Thanks for the reply though.

Hi, thanks for the advice. This model was really just a test to see what it would do in unreal engine. I’m going to make something different using your advice, thanks.

You can have texture tiling, even overlapping uvs, you only need to have diferent UVs, just dont use the auto generated uvs of unreal since they kinda suck for everything but the most simple models
