UE4 Editor FPS Viewport/Blueprints

Hello,

Ever since I’ve used unreal engine. My fps seems to drop significantly at random times while using the editor. It’ll be perfectly fine fps, then slam to about 20. Then randomly pop back up to normal. Especially when I go to move nodes wires around. I can usually tell by watching the green blimps from the tutorial button.

I’m running a i7 6 core, gtx 1080 ti, and windows 10 pro on the latest update.

One of my thoughts is maybe it has to do with substance painter? I did have to change some stuff when it was installed regarding the gpu, something to do with a time out error or something. It was an error that was popping up every time starting substance painter. I changed something in the registry to effect that.

I did try some other things before hand like, changing the power settings for windows, made sure i was in high power mode. I also changed the nvidia control panel to prefer maximum power.

I also disabled nvidias share thing. No luck! If you could please help me figure this problem out. Its driving me crazy. Also the low frame rate gives me a head ache. So this is a huge annoyance for me.

Thanks

Found out it was an issue with GSYNC
