Where is the Maya Live Link plugin?

Anyone know where the Maya Live Link plugins are located? The online DOCS say they are in the 'Extras" folder of the engine, but they are not there.

Yeah, when I install the MayaLiveLinkPlugin2018.mll on my mac, I get

/ Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2018/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel line 905: does not match the current architecture (MayaLiveLinkPlugin2018)

Which makes me very very sad. Does anyone know how to make that .mll MAC OS 10.13.3 compatible? Pleeeeeeease?

Does anyone know how to speak binary?.."Prebuilt binaries of the Maya Live Link plugin are supplied with the Engine and can be found in your Engine’s installation folder under Engine\Extras\MayaLiveLink\LiveLinkMaya.zip. Inside the zip file are binaries for Maya 2016/2017 and 2018 for Windows. If you require binaries for other versions, the source code for the plugin can be found in (Engine\Source\Programs\MayaLiveLinkPlugin). This can be used to build the binaries. "

I went there on my mac but there is no MayaLiveLinkPlugin in Programs. I guess it needs to be opened on a pc and then modified.

I cannot find the binary to modify in programs.Who has any experience with maya plugins for MAc? We need this…//Applications/Autodesk/maya2018/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel

for Mac. Is it as simple as writing plugin Mac.mel instead of pluginWin.mel? If so Can I open the .mll file with Notepad? I tried but but failed. I have a feeling I am in the right direction. Please help Maya plugin Mac developers. Many many thanks

I found some .cpp files in the windows version, I guess they can be changed with xcode or visual studio so it works on a mac.
