Skeletal mesh LODs import with morph targets?

Hey, is it possible to import LOD skeletal meshes with morph targets? The base mesh I have uses morph targets, I want to LOD this base mesh however when I do this all the morph information is lost on the imported LODs. These imported LODs have their own morph information in 3ds max, however this information seems to not get imported with the LODs. Is there any way of getting around this or is it not possible to import skeletal mesh LODs with morph information?
