Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

App rejected because of TrueDepth APIs

Hello Community

I have run into a problem with my app containing the following Truedepth API:

Guideline 2.5.1 - Performance - Software Requirements During review, we found that your app includes TrueDepth APIs. However, we were not able to locate any features in your app that use TrueDepth APIs. Next Steps If your app does not include any features that use TrueDepth APIs, please remove them from your app.

I do not use the TrueDepth camera in my app and would love to know how to remove it so my app doesn't get rejected. I am using UE 4.19.0 because of problems with PrivateFrameworks/MetalTools.framework (MTLDebugDevice) when submitting using 4.18. This seems to have been resolved by using 4.19 only now I have the TrueDepth issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Product Version: UE 4.19

Have you found any solution for this? I am also having the same issue.

I also encountered this issue. Disabling the 'Apple ARKit' plugin (Under Augmented Reality) seemed to do the trick.

It'll force you to package as a code project, which may be an issue if you're working only in blueprints though. alt text

I had the same problem--app rejection despite my not intending to use any TrueDepth API. I tried disabling the ARKit plugin, as @TrentCab suggested, but it didn't seem to make a difference. The rebuilt binaries were rejected for the same reason.

@peterandre3000, did you get this approach to work?

Same problem for me, my project has been rejected twice by Apple because of TrueDepth APi. And the second time, I disabled the ARKit plugin, but it was still not accepted by Apple :( Apple told me to contact Unreal support to fix the pb!
