Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Fortnite/Paragon Online Subsystem

Does anyone know which online subsystem fortnite/paragon uses for matchmaking? I get the sense they don't use Steam since I don't have a Steam account and I can still play fortnite. It would be nice if we could somehow get access to this, perhaps through purchasing it. I am guessing it is proprietary in nature, so I'm not optimistic about its availability to developers using the unreal engine. However, it would be nice to know if it was.

By the way, I am not entirely sure I fully understand what an online subsystem is, but I get the sense it is some server service that is separate from the game clients and that it connects clients to the same game server process.

Thanks

Bump.. I would also like to know what this architecture is and if it can be used for our platform development.
