Phat - Mirroring Bodies and constraints

Hi!

I made a very simple Skeleton setup, Two Joints on the right side and two mirrored joints on the left side. Root joint is in the middle.

I the Physics Asset Editor, i have done the setup for the right side and I would like to mirror bodies and constraints to the right side, if I select the bodies and press “M” or click on the mirror button, nothing happens.

Is that because Phat does not know how to find symmetry? or its a bug ?

Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi! did you solve the problem I’m having the same issue the mirror option doesn’t do anything

Mirror is really poor in Phat, always has been. The problem you are having is Mirror only works if the exact naming convention is used: Bones MUST end in _L and _R (eg: Arm_L and Arm_R) for it to decide there is a symmetrical pair. Basically it doesn’t find a symmetry at all, but looks for the paired named bone and (in theory, but rarely in actuality in my experience) creates a similar physics body across the vertical axis with flipped constraints.

Thanks for yor reply, my problem was that as you said - my bones names don’t have the same naming convention - my skeletal meshe is taken from mixamo.
