Does anybody have a solution to this “Asset loading problem?”

Hey, I have a major problem on my project earlier this evening. After when I was trying to add a death animation, I deleted this asset “UE4_Mannequin_Skeleton” because the YouTuber named Virtus told me to. So after when I deleted it, I went on to my next step and when I clicked on the asset, it failed to load the asset and instead it shows the white background with a asset name and a unreal logo. And this doesn’t happen on 1 asset, it happens on every asset I have! So does anybody here have a solution on how I can fix this? My game is still playable, but I am unable to edit my assets after I deleted the UE4_Mannequin_Skeleton asset. I did the best I could to try to fix this by looking up answers on the internet and suggestions from my brother. I even loaded up my other project to make sure that everything is okay and I noticed that it even has the same problem as well even though the UE4_Mannequin_Skeleton is not deleted from there, only my main project is. I tried to reimport the UE4_Mannequin_Skeleton asset and it gives me a error that it failed to reimport an asset. And I even did my brother’s suggestion, by restarting the computer because sometimes, programs and engines act weird. And after when I restarted, the problem still occurs. I would appreciate it if anybody can answer this problem “ASAP”. I still am and will try to figure out on how can i get my assets working again.

have you tried verifying your install? you may have deleted it from the engine itself. just a possibility.

go to the library tab of the launcher and find the engine version giving you issues then look for the down arrow next to the launch button. press the arrow then select verify.

Thank you man, but plz tell me, what are the steps to verify my install, and what is my install?

I wish this worked, but it didn’t for me. Any other suggestion?

Never mind, man. I fixed it, by right clicking on the asset window and press minimize!!

I fixed it, I figured it out. So anyone that experienced this issue, go to your asset window that’s showing the white background with a logo on the center window and right click and then press minimize and it should work but lastly, make sure you drag the window and resize it big and you’re good to go
