No motion blur when rendering alembic imports in Sequencer

I know, alembic import is still experimental. And I figured out, that playing alembic animations in the Sequencer only works, when imported as skeletal. (Imported as Point Cache works as well but only while rendering/capturing, not in Sequencer-playback.)

But I couldn’t find a way to enable motion blur for alembic animations. Possibly because the way Unreal handles MB doesn’t recognize this morph-like interpretation of alembic animation-sequences?

Does anyone know a solution or a workaround for this issue? Would be a huge help!
