Whenever I try to open Unreal 4.19.0, it just opens a white screen and then crashes. I'm pretty sure it's because my computer is old, but I am wondering if there is anyway to get it to work?

It would help to know what the specifications of your computer are. If you have less than 8 GB of memory, running the editor will likely just crash. Also, if your GPU does not support OpenGL 4.3, you’ll likely not get it running.

It is a good possibility it has to do with your pc not being able to run the current engine. I had the same problem with my laptop. it runs engine 4.15.3 pretty well, but it cannot at all load 4.18 with the new lightning settings it has. Best to check if your pc is capable of running the latest engine. There should be specs on the sites. Another thing you could do is see if there are any bug reports about this, or wait until the new patch (4.19.x). A temporary solution would be to try and see if an older version works, and work from that. Sorry I cannot be of more help then stating the obvious :expressionless:

I am hoping that someone out there can help me. My computer isn’t very beefy, but it can take things like Steam and SketchUp at the same time. Is there any possible way to get my computer to handle UE4.19.0?
