Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to Migrate Animated Characters

I have several animated characters in an older project file (4.16.3) used for testing. Rather than recreate them I'd like to migrate them from 4.16.3 to 4.18.3. I tired to do this as I would any other mesh but have had no success. I've tried to search for how to do this but have come up empty. It's likely that the terminology I used to search with is off and skewing the results.

Could someone tell me how to migrate or move the entirely of these animated characters or link me to a detail how-to process?

Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I have the same issue and the generated .uasset files don't seem to be recognized.
