I’m trying to retarget Shinbi Anim BP to Countess. I’m tried following these tips: UE4 Tutorial - Paragon Character Retarget onto the Third Person Template in under 10 minutes! - YouTube just to know how retargeting works. Since both skeletons use “Paragon_Proto_Retarget” Rig I understand that selection Humanoid default RIG is not necesary for both skeletons to be able to see each other for the retargeting feature:
But when I try to do it, I can’t find the Countess skeleton (Shinbi_Anim_Blueprint > Retarget Anim Blueprints > Duplicate Anim Blueprints and Retarget)
Well, since no one gave an answer to this, I’m going to reply to myself just in case someone needs the answer:
Just disable “Show only compatible skeletons” and other skeletons will appear. Paragon skeletons will work since they share the same hierarchy but I don’t know about others.
I still don’t know why it doesn’t appear since they both are similar.
I just downloaded TwinBlaster and put him in a project with the 3rd person character. The third person character runs to a point, TwinBlaster just slides there. I don’t think they’ve included anything other than their spawn animation. When you hit play, he does his thing where he pulls out his guns, but that’s it.
