Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

its hard to say for sure and laptops arent exactly supported but i would venture to say that yes you could make games using that setup. you may need to use an older version due to the hardware limitations of laptops. i would guess that 4.17 would be fine to work with and possibly newer versions as well. to know for sure based purely on hardware check the recommended spec and compare your hardware to that of the spec with sites like gpuboss and the hierarchy charts on toms hardware.

the other thing to keep in mind is how you define "good graphics". if your looking to do hyper realism with super high poly assets then in that situation ost systems would have issues. if your just starting out and looking to learn then you should have no issue. just look into the basics of optimization and dont go overboard with poly count and you should be fine.
