herd it was coming out but no time given.
also im currently working with 4.3.1 making CTF-maps will they work with 4.4 or will I need to remake them?
No, most things should work 
so far updates didnt break maps. 4.4 should be out somewhere in August considering we already have a preview, so far there update once a month or 2
