Subtracting clones from group animations?

So I have this simple setup

It is basically a sort of dance class, where “Homegirl” clones follow the player’s animations. On hitting ‘R’ a random clone will play a death animation.

Al I need is for that clone which has played the death animation, to stay down and not jump back up when I continue triggering normal animations using the main player.

Any ideas? Thank you!
