4.19 difference in particle textures

We upgraded from 4.16 to 4.19 and several of my particles are now way brighter or thicker

I ve gone through the version notes and havent found any clues as to why. More so just curious so I know what change Im working with for the future or what other effects I should look into changing because of this change

can you show some examples? I think I know what the problem is but I’d like to know for sure.

you might want to look into ue4 tonemapper. they changed it and its bloom.
The first few hits of this: ue4 tonemapper - Google Search should give you some info about it.
I am guessing this is whats resulting in the different look.

Thank you! yeah the tone mapper is totally it. I d thought they d switched the default tonemapper in a previous version from 4.16
