Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Building light causing weird shadows.

I have point light with a long Source Length and a cube (from Unreal Content) on the wall.

This is what looks like before I build the light. alt text

As you can see, the shadow is in the correct place. (shadow to the right/top of the cube).

After I build the light this happens. alt text alt text

The shadow goes to the bottom like I have a light in the middle of the wall..

This didn't happen on 4.18.

Here are the details of the pointlight. alt text

EDIT: I'm not using any custom mesh or texture, just a simple Cube from the editor and white base colour (For the walls and for the cube to create shadows).

What can I do?

Thank you for the help.

I think I found the same problem already on issue page.

Hope there are some developments for it. I also submitted a bug report.

If anyone knows any alternatives to do "piped lights" I would be grateful.
