Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Including GPL code for private use

I am working on an internal toolset within a modified version of UE4. I am considering the use of a third-party library but it is distributed under GPL license. The tools I am working on are intended for private use only and I have no intention to ever release them to public. They only work within Unreal Editor and are not part of the game build that is to be shipped. As far as I understand, GPL only cares about re-distribution and doesn’t cover the use of the code (correct me if I am wrong here) so I would like to know if this would work from legal point of view and whether this is allowed by current EULA terms.

Thank you!
