Compiling shaders forever

I dont know why, but since last time I opened the engine, it decided to get me crazy by not letting me to use the engine until it compiles shaders. And I was like okay, 22 shaders what could be wrong? It’s been around a hour and it’s stuck on 22. I was like, um okay might be a bug, restarted the engine, my PC, everything. I opened a material, that WORKED a few days before and hasnt changed since then, and it decides to compile 22 shaders again. FOREVER.

I am starting to get mad and nervous, I dont wanna lose my project. I literally can’t do anything in the map or in the materials without it loading shaders forever.

Is there a fix for this bug?

Hi guys, I found the cause of this issue.
If you have Avast Antivirus installed, that might be it. It’s blocking the shader compilation.

Yep! Avast was my problem too!
