How can I parent lights to a moving actor in sequencer with offsets accessible from view port?

Is there any way to group a bunch of lights together and parent the group to a moving actor in sequencer?

What I tried to do is parenting a set of lights to the moving character in sequencer and tweak the local transform of each light in view port.

I’ve tried to attach lights to a sphere and then attach the sphere to my moving character in sequencer.

However, when I tweak the light transform in viewport the local transform in sequencer doesn’t change at all.
The only way to set local transform in sequencer is to input values in sequencer. This could be really troublesome when working on character lighting.

Is there any better suggestion to constraint a group of lights to a character without losing control of light through the view port?
