Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Texturing MakeHuman Character

I am using MakeHuman to make characters in my game, but when I import the character I get white eyes instead of textured eyes, How would I fix this?

I have been struggling with the High-Poly eyes from MakeHuman. If you are using those, Open the texture for the eyes (If you already imported the character into UE4, you can make a copy of the import texture and point the UE4 texture to that and then re-import. There is an empty spot at the bottom right of the eye texture. If you copy the eye to fill that spot, the texture will show up in UE4 for both eyes. Without re-mapping the UV of the eyes, this is the simplest fix.

So, Just to re-iterate... Step 1, Open the texture for the eyes in gimp or photoshop or even paint. Step 2, Copy and resize one of the eyes to fill the empty spot at the bottom right of the texture map. Step 3, Save and import that texture into UE4. Step 4, Enjoy having eyes again.

These things might help you: - Ask who made this to update a newer version. You should have feedback with them. - If this is OK, abort it. No matter, just make eyes smaller, maybe nobody will see it. - You could also try any other app. Makehuman is not too good, i used it for 3 months and deleted it already. Hope these things can help you.
