importing real world map

Hello

I have created an landscape but i want to create it according to my real world map, my question is how i can import the real world map and create a landscape according to the map. I have created road mash aswell i want to import those and create landscape according to real world map.

To ise a real world location as a landscape you are going to need to use a heightmap. You canget heightmaps for real world locations from terrain.party. Once tou download one you go into the landscape tab in unreal and near the top you will see import from file. From here its pretty self explanitory, you may need to play with setings a little bit to get the scale tou want.

Thanks for the reply, I have already downloaded the map and i want to build the world according to the map, when i import the map(which is in png format) it turns out to be something strange. I want to know how to import the map and build a world or landscape according to it.

What do you mean it turns into something strange? What i was explaining above was to create a landscape based on a heightmap. You will probably need to play with the smoothing and scale to make it reflect real world. Im assuming your trying ro recreate a place from the real world.
