Subsurface color overrides Diffuse

Hi there, I’m trying to make a lamp like this one →

with a subsurface material, to allow the light to pass through. I have two different materials, one for the “translucent” one and another for the metal. This is how the subsurface material looks like →

The problem is that the subsurface color override the diffuse like so →
