Why does everytime I try to install the Epic Games launcher it fails with the message that another install is in progress?

I saw this posted by around two other people but haven’t seen any thing close to a solution for the program.

I open it with full permissions that I know about.

I’ve done clean reboots to try and fix the issue.

I can install other programs like normal, the issue is with the Epic Games launcher sololy.

Here is my install log for it:
