Hello! Sorry for my English, i’m not englishspeaker, but i learn it now.
I have one-polygon mesh using as plastic glass over display.
In substance painter i created opacity mask. You can see it in first screenshot. How can i apply it in my UE4 project? I use substance material generated in Substance Designer. Designer automatically set opacity mask to “opacity mask” socket in ue4 material (idk how it calls), but as i know, opacity mask works only with fully-white and fully-black colors igonring grayscale valuation.
Ok, i tried to set blending mod into transfluence mod. But in this case i lost abilily to use roughness map and normal map. Moreover, the mesh stoped reflect light. It looks so bad.
I tried to find best solution, changing all parameters in my material, but best i reached you can see in second screen.
What the best way to do it? I really want to see my Substance Painter result in the UE4. I know, maybe this glass looks not so good, but i’ll tweak it later. Now i want to get ability to make it better.
