Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Epic Launcher fails to recognize Virtualbox GPU

I'm using Virtualbox with 3d Accell is enabled to run a Win10Pro on top of my linux host.

Using the proprietary Nvidia driver (v390) for my GTX980Ti, GA are installed, dxdiag looks fine (see https://nonchip.de/paste/211).

I installed the launcher and ran it from the install dialog, even installed (but didn't run) Fortnite. But after a reboot now the launcher doesn't even want to start and tells me to check if my gpu matches the requirements.

EDIT: the dxdiag linked above is from AFTER the reboot (=reflects the "broken" state), don't have one from before to compare sadly.

Product Version: Epic Games Launcher
