Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can't build lighting because lightmap is too large?

Whenever I try building lighting I get an error: InstancedFoliageActor_0 The total lightmap size for this InstancedStaticMeshComponent is large, consider reducing the component's lightmap resolution or number of mesh instances in this component.

I have a dense jungle with quite a bit of foilage and I've already tried changing lightmap resolution down to 4 and no luck. I also changed everything from dynamic lighting to static lighting which made no difference to the build. If I decrease the density of the jungle and click build lighting it starts to build. Is there any way to change some settings to keep the density while also being able to build lighting for it?

Thanks for helping!
