Can you import DDS?

hi guys, I was importing a DDS file for my skybox but this keep on coming up:

Failed to import ‘…/…/…/…/…/…/Desktop/Nebula.dds’. Failed to create asset ‘/Game/Sky_Folder/Sky_Box/Nebula’.
Please see Output Log for details.

Not sure why this is happening as all of the youtube videos don’t have this problem, if you can fix this it would be greatly appreciated

Try opening it with GIMP and export as RGBA8; then reimport.

sorry, is there any other way because the program i am using don’t export any of those

Try GIMP ( https://www.gimp.org/ ). As far as I remember it helped me solve something similar by fiddling with export settings. Although it was a quite a long time ago.
