My problem started with when i alt + f4 out of fortnite save the world. The problem with it was that the Easy Anti Cheat program failed to make a copy of EasyAntiCheat.sys in the system32 folder. Luckly it had a copy of it in the Easy Anti Cheat folder, so i just copied and pasted it in there and everything seemed to have worked perfectly.
When i started Fortnite the next day it had some error with the Easy Anti Cheat not failing to make a copy to the system32 folder that i thought i already did manually.
So tried running the repair option and the unistall and reinstall option but it kept throwing the same error 32.
At that point i took to the Easy Anti Cheat website too see if the support page had any idea similar problems that had already been resolved. All i found there was the insulting help of “have your tried turning it off and on again and running it again” but regardless i tried it and no luck in that department.
Then i tried looking in to the forums and youtube to see if anyone had a fix there, but all the fixes that i could fine there didnt seem to work for me.
At this point i was getting annoyed and i decided to reinstall my windows 8 and reinstall the Epic games launcher and the game. After waiting about 2 hours i decided to give it another go but again the same anti cheat error 32 was crashing the game.
I asked my friend to send a copy of his EasyAntiCheat.sys file to see if i added it to mine, maybe it would work and behold it did worked, until i closed the game and about 2 hours later tried to run it again and it kept crashing.
I took another look at the Easy Anti Cheat program but it said that the install of the file to system 32 was successful and now i have run out of ideas what to do about it. I tried contacting the support for Easy Anti Cheat services but i havent gotten a reply in 2 days.
If anyone might have a idea whats wrong with please let me know.
