Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Accidentally closed everything

Did some really dumb stuff and accidentally closed literally everything. Cannot access anything while in a project, tried restarting computer (Mac), deleting the project and creating a new one, etc. Looking for any help. This is what it looks like every time I load it up. alt text

Can you still see File, Edit, etc. on the menu bar at the top of the screen where most Mac programs show these? If so, the Window menu should help you re-open stuff. If all else fails, Window -> Reset Layout (near the bottom) should hopefully fix this by completely resetting the window layout to the defaults. You'll have to manually fix your layout if you had a custom one before this happened, but at least you'll be able to use the editor again.

If you can't do it this way, you might be able to press Cmd + N to get the New Level dialog, or Cmd + O to get the Open Level dialog, and try creating/opening a level. That will hopefully open the level editor tab, which is where I can see the Window menu. That's where the Window menu shows up on Windows at least, but if the Mac editor works like Mac programs I've used in the past, having the level editor in focus should put a Window menu on the menu bar at the top of your screen.
