Stationary Point Light resolution issues

I am trying to use a stationary point light, but when I build the lighting to bake the shadows the shadows look completely different than they do when I first placed the object in the scene. I also noticed that if I change the light to movable than it performs dynamic shadows which look perfectly fine.

I’m pretty sure it’s my understanding of how the engine works, and any help would be appreciated.
