Imported mesh with stranger shadow

Hi everyone, there’s a problem with may car mesh. When i see it on lightwave it’s all ok. There aren’t this strange shadow. But when i import it on UE4 they appear. I’ve tried to change material but nothing.

Here is bad lightmap or not correct lightmap size. Try to increase lightmap resolution and reimport asset (mesh).
Also you can try rebuild lights - you will see is error or not (overlapping uv error). It means, lightmap is not correct and need to recreate.

In other software it can look good enough, but for engine is important to have very correct lightmaps. I hope increasing resolution can help, but 99% you need to create new lightmap, uv.

The problem is that there isn’t any lightmap. If you only import the model whitout material, only mesh, this strange Shadow appears. It remains also with every UE4 material

This is the model on lightwave. Where on unreal there is the shadow on lightwave there’s a groove

Hi!

Are you sure that the mesh is closed… no open edges… and your normals too…
I guess the first screenshot is from the mesh properties window so that’s the dynamically lit version…
Have you tried with a two sided material?
…I think the problem is with the mesh…
