Why does the cascade "kill box" never work?

Kill Boxes don’t work as they are supposed to when added to a particle emitter. I followed this guide but the “kill inside” does the opposite of what it’s supposed to, but in game the kill box either kills every particle or doesn’t kill a ■■■■ thing. It was the same way for UDK and just as annoying then too.

I am not seeing a problem with the kill box module. I have posted my setup and a screenshot of it working in my test level. One thing I would ask you to check on your module is if you are using a particle system in Local Space (a toggle in the Required Module) then you will have to set the Kill Box Module to toggle Absolute to true/checked.

It’s not working for me (using a mesh emitter, but it also doesn’t work when I revert back to a normal emitter), another thread states that this was a verified problem a few years ago, is this still not fixed?
