Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Light Leaking Problem

I have been having a problem with this interior scene I have been creating. As you can see there is light leaking through corners and light on the wall. The light quality is at production and this is what happens every time it bakes. Any ideas?alt text

I think it's not a light leak but an extremely low lightmap resolution...

Agree with Makigirl, can be your lightmap rez or not enough padding for the way you split/laid out the lightmap UVs.

Thanks for the answer. I tried to increase the light map size, but as you can see it only made the leakage smaller and brighter. Also, some there is some splotchiness in the light.alt text

Ok, looks a LOT better!! What quality build is this screenshot? (Preview?) I guess lightmap compression is turned on... maybe you don't have lightmass portal(s) in your scene... It can still be low resolution lightmap... which meshes are separate? Are your walls have thickness or just planes? The upper skirting: is it a separate mesh?
