Point light goes through door

I’v been having issues with my static meshes and a point light.

All of my static meshes have the same labert default material. It’s white.

There is only a single light source on the map (Pointlight). When I place it outside of the map (As demonstrated in the picture) the light bleeds through one of my modular wall panels. The picture with the red circle is the outside of the panel, and the other picture is from indoors.

What I find extremely strange is that the light doesn’t bleed through all of the panels. From and inside perspective, it looks to be just coming through that one, despite all of the panels being the exact same static mesh.

Each wall panel is 250cm250cm w/h, and 50cm thick.

I am also having this lighting problem with my door, which uses the same materials. It consists of a frame, and two sliding doors.

Hi!

I would say your lightmap resolution is very low… I guess that both sides of the wall share the uv space… So if your meshes have thickness and properly snapped and lightmapped, raising your lightmp resolution should fix your issue…
…modular wall issues usually go away with 0.1 lighting scale and 0.6 smoothness in your lightmass settings!
