Image Sequence starts when Sequencer starts

I have an image sequence of an actor filmed against a green screen. I have keyed out the green and rendered a PNG sequence with alpha channel, and used to place him in the scene via an image sequence. It works great. I place the actor into a scene in sequencer.

This more or less covers how I did the image sequence and how I have it set up to blue in the level blueprint.

However, when I render the sequence out to a video, the image sequence starts playing too early and is not in sync. What I would like to do is have the image sequence start play at the first frame at the first frame of action in the sequencer.

Did you end up having any luck with this ? I bumped into the same issue.

I guess you can control the start frame, right? Inside the media player. But what I struggle with, is the fact, that the image sequence, doesn’t play inside the sequencer.

Meaning:
You created your Level Sequence
You press PLAY inside of the Level Sequence (not the Game Mode Play)

But the Image Sequence doesn’t play inside of the sequencer.

Have you been able to play the image sequence inside of the Sequencer, after pressing the Play button (not the Play Button for the Game)
