Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

DrivedDataCache - Moved Directory (4.18) - Can't open my project anymore

I have used the feature in 4.18 (project settings) and I have changed the Directory where the Derivated Data Cache is stored, from c: to f: (DerivedDatacache stored on C was larger than 40 Gb).

Then I have erase the DDC on C:.

I have restarted the prohect but at 94% the it crash with a fatal error, making my project unable to open anymore.

I have tried to make a copy and opening it with 4.19 but still it crashes.

Could a gentle soul help me?

I guess the problem is the new path of DDC (because I have no other problem before hanghing the directory) so is there a way to reset it to default?

Thanks in advance for helping

Product Version: UE 4.18
