Atmospherical fog highlights road and rivers

I have noticed that atmospheric fog is making roads and rivers to be lit in distance. I have seen this in Cryengine also when playing Kingdom Come Deliverance. When using volumetric fog, the rivers looks like they have to intense specular, and with roughness that make the material badly shaded or something…

What is this, and could this be fixed in the MAT?
Or is this a bug, because i have seen this in cryengine like i said…
