How can we control how the blendspace blends?

So we have have a blendspace for navigation, but we’re seeing a weird artifact. When it blends to the upper-right and lower left it works fine, but when we blend to the lower-right and upper-left the character slows down. Is there a way we can change the way these sectors blend so its consistent? right now we’re hacking it by changing the blendspace to compensate in the questionable sectors, but that seams like a hack.
