Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Get Mesh Information for Nav Link Generation

I've been working on a system to Generate Nav Link Proxies for Jumping and Climbing. It works fine on Meshes with only one Layer but it fails with more complex ones. alt text

As you can see on the 2nd picture, I struggle to find the correct positions on a more complex mesh. So far I use traces to scan the surface of objects and place Links on Edges. That only works if there is no Roof though. So I'm wondering if there is a better way to get the Edges.

I don't have an answer and I'm late. But what you did right there is what I've been trying to find, unfortunately navlink for procedural setups is not a hot topic UE4...

If you still have this, do you mind sharing it? If not for free, I'd happily buy it off the marketplace for a reasonable price.
