Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Android Launch Problem

My Problem: I needed to install epic and codeworks again after my pc broke down and now after I've reinstalled everything, my Project doesnt launch on android. It gets stuck on deployment and the launch fails.

I tried to fix it by deisntalling visual studio 2017 and installing 2015 and the error changed from a System.Component missing to file couldnt be copied ( NanumGothic.tps ). I tried setting all the Variables like ANDROID_HOME but it didnt work. I installed every SDK Version in Codeworks in 1R6 and it didnt work. I ddeinstalled EpicGames Launcher and installed it in another folder and it didnt work. Its 2 weeks past now and after 3 days of trying to fix it, I have no idea what is causing this error.

More: I cant remember on which version I started making the game, but I tried to launch a new project and it didnt work either

I have the same issue in 4.20.2.

I tried many many thinks to get rid of the problem, the bugmessage changed sometimes but it didn't work, and all the other threads on this kind of problem didn't help either.

What fixed it for me is, getting the newest Update from 4.18 to which was 4.19 at that time and make a new android project. Just a block you can rotate for testing and it worked, so I rebuild my whole project in this new file/project.

I never really fixed the problem in my original project, but the new one seemed to work and I just copied most of my work to the new one.

I'll just wait for 4.21, hope it will be fixed. If not, then maybe I'll also make some such rework.
