Importing multiple meshes with fbx. 3DSMax to UE4
Hi, I was hoping you could help me with a static mesh problem I'm having. I built a space ship in 3dsmax that has 8 sections. Each section is unwrapped with 2 UV channels. The main UV's and then a 2nd channel for Light mapping in UE4.
When I import the pieces individually for light map and material testing, my light maps function properly. However, when I import the entire ship as one "attached piece" with an 8 ID multi/Sub material from 3dsmax, then build my lights, I get weird artifacts. UE4 tells me my UV's are overlapping. In addition, when viewing the 8 pieces in the static mesh editor, all my UV's are layered on top of each other, how do I fix this problem?
